Payment Terms and Conditions
These Payment Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern the methods, processing, and conditions applicable to payments made at Sammée Boutique . By completing a purchase, the Customer declares to have read and agreed to these Terms, without prejudice to the rights conferred by Decree-Law No. 24/2014, of February 14 (distance contracts) and other applicable legislation in Portugal.
1. Currency, Prices and Taxes
- Currency: all prices are shown in euros (€) .
- VAT: Prices include VAT at the current legal rate, unless expressly stated otherwise.
- Shipping and Fees: Shipping costs and any additional fees are displayed at checkout before payment confirmation.
- Pricing errors: In the event of a clear pricing error, we reserve the right to cancel the order and fully refund any amount paid.
2. Accepted Payment Methods
- PayPal — fast and secure payment, with buyer protection.
- Credit or Debit Cards — Visa, Mastercard, and American Express (with strong customer authentication – 3-D Secure/PSD2 when applicable).
- Google Pay — Simplicity and security in every payment. With Google Pay, your financial information is protected by advanced security systems and is not disclosed during the transaction. A fast, reliable, and completely secure method.
- Apple Pay — Fast, secure, and private payments. Apple Pay uses biometric authentication (Face ID or Touch ID) and advanced encryption. Your card details are never shared with the store, ensuring maximum protection with every purchase.
Payments are processed through communication with duly licensed payment services. We do not store complete card details.
3. Authorization, Collection and Billing
- Authorization: Upon order confirmation, authorization/charge is made according to the selected method.
- Invoice: The electronic invoice is issued after payment confirmation and order shipment.
- Payment failures: declined authorizations, expired deadlines, or suspected fraud may lead to automatic order cancellation. The customer will be notified to resolve the issue.
4. Anti-fraud and Security Verification
- We may perform additional checks (e.g., 3-D Secure authentication, data validation, or requesting proof of purchase) to protect both the customer and the store.
- We reserve the right to refuse or cancel orders when fraudulent or misuse of the payment method is detected; in this case, we will fully refund any amounts charged.
5. Refunds
- Refunds are subject to our Refund Policy .
- Once approved, the refund will be issued using the same payment method used for the purchase. The credit timeframe depends on the card issuer/bank (typically 3–10 business days after processing).
- The initial shipping cost is non-refundable, except in cases of our error or if the product is defective.
